I created a brand for a client working in Real Estate. My job was to create a brand that was sophisticated, simple, and professional. For the branding, I used the typefaces Retiro Std Regular with Hero New Ultra Light. The Retire Std typeface creates a sophisticated and professional feel, while the simple Hero New typeface compliments the serifs. In this process, I did many sketches, digital roughs, type experiments, while also communicating these decisions with my client. I’ve also created the logos in several interchangeable colors, because my client is planning to use these logos and word marks on business cards, website, and on listing photos. She is enjoying her new branding and is currently using it to market herself.
